Our wine list is all about choice, if you just want a glass there are a number of carefully selected wines. For those who want to share a bottle, but are short on time, or don't want the depth of choice, our house list has fifteen bottles, all eminently drinkable.
For those who enjoy a good wander around the vineyards of the world, our wine list is a good place to start.
My partner and I stayed at The Hoops Inn for 3 nights in March 2012 for one of our many mid weeks breaks this year (staycation in UK). Cost £55.00 per night, inc breakfast for 2, which we both thought was quite reasonable. We stayed in room 11 which we were happy with. I think it was one of the best nights sleep we have ever had on one of our breaks away, it was so quiet, at night only hearing the pheasents from time to time and the dawn chorus from the other birds at day break, bliss...
A good breakfast menu to choose from with plenty of toast, tea and coffee also offered. There was also a good choice with an evening meal menu from the bar, in which we sampled from the 3 nights that we were there, which were excellent. Some nice local beers from the cask to choose from, it's always nice to try the local ales. And last but not least, all the staff were very warm and friendly. If we stay in the area again, The Hoops Inn will certainly be at the top of our list to stay at. Thank you to the Managment and Staff at The Hoops Inn, you really did make our stay enjoyable and relaxed.
