RHS Rosemoor

If you are looking for inspiration and a relaxing day out, come to RHS Garden Rosemoor and stroll around our enchanting 65-acre garden. Rosemoor is a garden of intoxicating beauty, meticulously crafted and planted, retaining the essence of rural North Devon within a dramatic backdrop of steep wooded valley sides.

Whatever the season, the exciting colours, scents and textures mean that all your senses will be stimulated, and with both formal and informal gardens - as well as woodland walks, water features and open spaces - there is something for children and adults alike to enjoy time and again.

"We were staying for a weekend at a caravan park 3 miles away and decided to try hoops inn for for our first nights evening meal. We opted for the "early bird" menu (2 courses for £10). We all had the prawn cocktail to start. very generous portions. Then my husband and I had the scampi and my daughter the lasagne. All very nice. The staff were very friendly and attentive. we enjoyed it so much that we went back for our 2nd night and chose from the bar menu this time. I had the mussels which were absolutely gorgeous. No desserts as main courses were filling. We were going to try somewhere else for our last night but there was a couple of desserts we wanted to try so we went back to Hoops instead. This time my husband and i shared the fish platter for our main course and for our dessert he had a knickerbocker glory and i had the star anise brulee. Very nice. There was plenty of choices on the children's menu for my daughter. All in all we really enjoyed our 3 evening meals there. The staff each night were very friendly. We will return next time we are in North Devon." Oct 2012
