Whilst you cannot fish from the Hoops Inn, we are perfectly placed for fishing at Clovelly. There are several boats available to take you on the voyage of your choice from inshore and offshore fishing, salt water fly fishing, through to trips to Lundy or just booking the boat for a memorable day.
If you are into diving then there are some spectacular drop offs and scenery, and friendly seals to swim with.
"My wife and I stayed two nights in room 8, lovely room with a comfortable bed and all the space you'd need for a couple of nights. Ate in the bar on our first night and the whitebait and lasagna were good. Ate in the restaurant on the second night and the food was sublime, starters of mussels for me and sea trout for my wife, my pork belly was wonderful and my wife had the duck, which was equally as good. Iced peanut butter parfait rounded off whilst i had the cheeseboard. Along with breakfast the food could not be faulted. Staff were friendly and attentive. Altogether, hoops inn is thoroughly recommended. " Nov 2012
