All rooms are en suite with bath and/or shower, luxury handmade toiletries. The rooms have antique furnishings, with either four poster or tester beds and are situated in the old thatched part of the Hotel with views across the open countryside.

We stayed in room number 2. It is a suite with a four poster bed and a jacuzzi, tv, settee, coffee making facilities, it's just beautiful. So relaxing, clean, warm and cozy. Wonderful for a romantic couple of nights away!
I have never, ever slept in such a comfy bed! It was the most amazing night's sleep ever!
The food is wonderful. the staff are soooo friendly and welcoming, chatty and helpful. I cannot fault this inn.
You can walk through the car park onto a coastal path, with beautiful views . We walked to a picturesque village called Bucks Mills. It was very pretty, tough going at times but mostly because it was wet and muddy.
We drove the next day to clovelly, a couple of miles away. you have to pay to go into the village - £6.50 per adult - but it worth it. Again it is quite hard going, steep with cobbled stones but very pretty.
I would recommend a visit to the hoops... it's just perfect !" Nov 2012
